The first night was great! I fell asleep for about 2 hours, woke up and was taking in the days events. A strong sense assurance came over me that this is what and where I should be. I kept thinking of the dying to self verse, because when you enter into his plans and purposes for your life as I think I have, your (my) wants/plans for life don't even enter the mind. It's too busy building relationships, helping and sharing Christ's heart with others. Granted no huge obstacles have come my way but that just proves God's a gentleman and is easing me into this place I'm calling home for a month. I love that my Heavenly Father loves me so much that he woke me up just so he could talk to me.

Breakfast at 7:30am and preschool starts at 8:30 am. I helped Ms. Biada with the 3 year old class. The children are so beautiful here. At play time (recess) myself and 2 girls played "Ring around the Rosey" game, within minutes all 20 or so kids at recess were in this big circle holding hands giggling and falling down. So much fun!
Wednesday night prayer and worship service was about a 25-30 minute school bus ride into Belmopan, picking up the congregation on the way. It was practically standing room only in the bus. Worship was simple, projector on the wall two vocalists and a guitar. Just about everyone entered the center of the worship circle asking God to work out his plans in their lives, it was a beautiful moment.
As pastor Ron said, "There's never a dull moment." The the bus had and electrical failure a little over a mile short of his house. He pulled over to the side of the road and two of his sons ran home to get the other bus. Before this part of the adventure home, the whole bus was happily singing songs (i pod), especially the kids which surprised me. Popular songs we hear on Christian radio, they new every word to every song! I was blessed with hearing the love in their voices.
FOOD

Linda (Pastor Ron's wife) and I where talking today and it looks like I'm going to be revamping their meal schedule for when mission teams come. Cooking isn't something she enjoys a whole lot and she had prayed for help in this area. So I'm here! The meals will be for about 30 people. The first recipe that I'm going to try is a Burrito Pie. Top and bottom pie crusts, ground meat, taco seasoning, olives, re-fried beans and cheese. I thought this would be a good first meal to test out, beans, meat and seasoning not to unfamiliar. For breakfast I'm going to test out Dutch Babies, they were a hit as school (sold over 24 of them). I'll let you know how it goes :) Linda also said if I want to do some desserts, that would be good too. I was excited to say the least!
love reading your posts sis. I can't wait to hear how everyone likes the dutch babies!!! yummers!
