Wow, how time flies by. Ron took 6 of the kids and I to a water park, on the way to the Belize City airport. It is a popular cruise/ tourist spot and now I know why. We slid down the water slide, ate cheesy nachos poolside, quietly swayed in the cozy hammocks, walked by large camouflage iguanas and to top it all off I got to hold a baby monkey, George. What a fun day!
It's hard to believe my 4 Belizean weeks are up, I arrived home safely in Seattle at about 1:20 AM Wednesday morning. It was difficult saying goodbye at the airport and being the girl that I am, I cried. It was like leaving family, family that I loved and cared about.

Truly I can’t say enough about how blessed I am by Ron and Linda Braaten and their family at Oasis Nation. Such dedicated hard workers for the Lord. I was inspired by them in many ways and have a greater understanding and respect for missionaries. From my heart I thank them for saying “Yes” to a complete stranger who loves Jesus and wanted to cook for them. God was gracious in easing me into my first international missions trip and pairing me up with an amazing couple. Right before I left, Linda said come and visit us anytime, so the door is open…
On the airplane returning home I praised God for blessing me with a large loving church family/family to come home to. I timed it right, to be back for Passion Week, celebrating the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! For whom it is all about!
Happy Easter and God Bless,
